My lovely Uncle Derek x What happy, special childhood memories I have thanks to you. You always made me feel like I was the most loved & special little girl in the world... but I know this is how you made everyone feel with your massive warm heart & larger than life and fun personality. I idolised you as a little girl Uncle Derek. As tragic as it was, I was overjoyed to see you last year & once again you made such a fuss of me I felt like I was the only person sat with you. I'll never forget you cuddling & kissing me so much I went back to being that much loved & special little niece again. I knew, even after the many years I'd not seen you, that you would have that effect on me...... you always did. If I'd known then it would be the last time I would see you in this life, I would have carried on cuddling & kissing you till we were both worn out. So I'll now have to wait for the next cuddle with your angel wings, which I've no doubt will be the biggest, strongest & most beautiful wings you can get - haha the Rolls Royce of angel wings.... mmmm or more likely Mercedes-Benz..... You & Jason are no doubt showing all of them up there how to be real angels, causing mayhem along the way! Monksies live forever! Whenever life gets tough Uncle Derek I will look up to the skies & although I cannot hear your words of advice I know you'll be guiding me along. I'll feel your Mercedes wings around me.
